An eligible parent and student will need to request a TDLR PTDE packet along with completing the online course. After you have enrolled in the course, you will receive pertinent information on how to satisfy the Parent Taught Drivers Ed requirements.

Meet your Texas driver license requirement all online! After you finish this online course, you will receive a state-issued certificate of completion to bring with you to the DPS. With this proof of course completion, you won’t be required to take the written test!
